Not my wife. Me.

There is something new being “birthed” in my heart and life. There are past barriers that have to come down, but it is GOD who is bringing them down.

Look out. YOU may be pregnant, too.

HEAR these words from Isaiah:

Sing, barren woman who has borne no child;
break forth into singing and cry out,
you who were never in labor,
for the children of the wife who has been deserted will be more numerous than the children of the married, says the Lord.
² Enlarge the site of your tent,
and stretch out the drapes of your dwellings;
don’t hold back.
Lengthen your tent ropes and strengthen your stakes.
³     To the right and to the left you will burst out,
and your children will possess the nations’ land
and settle their desolate cities. (Isa. 54:1-3, CEB)

Israel had to be dealt with in her rebellion. But God’s love was so great he would not leave her barren.

He will not leave you barren. He will not leave you abandoned. He knows where you are.

Congratulations! It’s a boy! And a girl! And lots of them.

Sell the two-door coupe and get a minivan. Build the addition on your house. God is doing something wonderfully new.
