One of the Psalms for today is Psalm 30. This is a very special psalm for me. The words of this psalm brought healing into my life in the darkest moments. Ephesians 1-3 set my life straight again, but Psalm 30 describes the journey.

This is the beauty of Scripture. Certain passages can bring significant change through the Spirit in our lives. Then, there are passages that help describe what happened. This is one of the many reasons I love the Bible.

Ephesians helped set me on my feet again, establishing who I was in Christ. Psalm 30 helped me voice the journey and give praise to God.

Advent is Christ coming. He came into my darkness, walked me through it, and brought me into light.

 ¹¹ You changed my mourning 
into dancing. 
   You took off my funeral clothes 
      and dressed me up in joy 
 ¹² so that my whole being 
   might sing praises to you 
   and never stop.
