Learning to Appreciate the Common English Bible

I am learning how to edit. Endorsements are great places for editors to work. They don’t seem to work at newspapers anymore, so they must have shifted to the endorsement market.

I sent a note to the folks at the Common English Bible to let them know I really do appreciate the CEB when it comes to reading the Apocrypha. I also let them know I still had reservations about the use of “Human One” in the gospels referring to Jesus. Just like life when you chew the meat and spit out the bones, they emailed me back and asked if they could use my comments as an endorsement. Of course, they left out that part about “Human One.”

Nevertheless, I can trade horses with the best of them. It got my name up in lights! πŸ˜‰

HERE is my “endorsement.

(If they happen to read this, I also want them to know I can be bought. A hard copy of the CEB with Apocrypha would be great!) πŸ™‚
