Harmful and Objectionable

This email blast is really interesting about Apple and its apps. The Manhattan Declaration wanted to have an app for iPhone and was rejected.

This excerpt is chilling:

Apple rejected the app, saying in a letter on December 22 that the app contains “references or commentary about a religious, cultural or ethnic group that are defamatory, offensive, mean-spirited or likely to expose the targeted group to harm or violence will be rejected.  We have evaluated the content of this application and consider its contents to be objectionable and potentially harmful to others.”

One response to “Harmful and Objectionable”

  1. I am not surprised. I get emails from Open Doors , and there is this message to me that it might have harmful content. Yeah right! Sure the truth about the persecuted church and innocent people in the 10/40 window countries carries dreadful stories; However, by blocking my email doesn’t make that truth go away. Just in from MPR, the publisher’s are thinking of changing Twain’s book “Adventures of Huckleberry Finn” by removing the N word, for said reasons, offensive for one. Again, history is history. Past, present and future, there will always be things happening in the human conditions that are not ‘politically correct’… Get over it.
