From this coming Sunday to at least Pentecost Sunday I will be doing a series on the Holy Spirit. In Acts 1, Jesus spent his time between the resurrection and the ascension talking to the disciples about the Kingdom of God. He reiterated what they hadn’t paid attention to when he was with them for three years. (Call it a refresher course.)

As I prepare for this series, it’s important for ME to be be reminded of the principles of the Kingdom of God.

Matthew’s gospel is key. The Sermon on the Mount is key to seeing what Kingdom life is all about. Also, the parables of Matthew 13 are crucial.

If Jesus spent time reminding his disciples about the Kingdom of God, we need to spend time refreshing our own minds about these things as well.
