The internet, like any other vehicle, cuts both ways. One of the dangers I always see is how using the internet continually highlights how our society has become less and less discerning.

We have lost all sense of decorum in our culture, and the internet only keeps on proving it.

I have problems with the social websites like facebook and myspace because people just don’t think about what they put out there. It’s starting to effect college recruiting, from athletes to scholars. Universities are checking those places to see if their potential recruits are acting like idiots.

Well, it has come back to actually haunt a university president! It turns out that not only are teenagers not very discreet and discerning, but neither are a lot of educated adults!

Sometimes we need to pray more fervently, “God, please save us from ourselves!”
