Faithfulness.

On January 13 my parents celebrated 50 years of marriage. It was an amazing day for them and I am so grateful. Their love for each other and their family is so amazing.

One of the great legacies of my parents will be their faithfulness. They are faithful to the Body of Christ as well as to each other. They are faithful to their customers in their business. They are faithful to their family.

The example of my parents “being there” for people will stand out to me as one of the finest examples I could have in ministry. In the sea of change that rages all around us, “being there” is so key for people. People need to know you are THERE for them.

My parents continue to model that faithfulness. They have ALWAYS been there for me and for the rest of my family. They have been there for their church. They serve faithfully. People know who to depend on: my parents.

I want to be there for people. I want to keep that legacy going.
