Tools of my trade, so to speak. My IBM ThinkPad. I am out of it because it’s not an Apple, but I will find a way to stay “hip.” Jennifer Connelly uses an IBM ThinkPad in the movie, “Blood Diamond.” I’ll be hip…I’ll be hip… (Just keep repeating it.)
A Waterman Phileas. Cheap as far as nice pens go, and I found out I can refill it with a Pilot G2. I am not a huge G2 fan, but I’ll survive. The other pen is a Retro51 Tornado. A lot of fun. I haven’t checked on cheap refills yet.
The journal is NOT a Moleskine. Sorry. It’s a “Ru” Journal by Xonex. It is half the price of a Moleskine, has a pocket in the back, an elastic band and it holds ink far better than most Moleskines. It is also similar in size and very durable. I am liking this one a lot.
I am finding this hybrid of pen, paper, and still using digital to be interesting. I love journaling on paper far more than blogging. However, I used to be a legal pad and pen guy when writing sermons and now I am more comfortable writing my sermons on my ThinkPad.
